Diffusion Alloyed Brass

Description

Zinc powder is diffused into copper powder on a belt furnace to produce many alloy variations with the most common being 90/10, 80/20 and 70/30 copper/zinc. The irregular particle shapes make these powders ideal for a wide array of applications.

• Wide range of zinc contents are available
  90% copper and 10% zinc
  80% copper and 20% zinc
  70% copper and 30% zinc
• Particle size -60 mesh (<250 µm)
• Apparent density 3.0 g/cc to 3.7 g/cc
