Required Qualifications

AS degree in Engineering or similar major and/or the equivalent in experience.
5 – 8 years demonstrated “hands on” industrial maintenance experience
1 – 3 years minimum supervisory experience with an appropriate progression of increased responsibility.
The proven ability to work productively with individuals at all levels inside and outside the organization.
Demonstrated skills with PC office applications such as MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

Maintenance Supervisor – Reading Alloys

Key Job Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Supervisor will be accountable for leading and supervising all maintenance activities to ensure 24-hour coverage and continuous business operations. This role involves ensuring that all maintenance employees follow safe work practices and procedures, delivering results consistent with plant operating goals, and integrating maintenance activities with company quality systems to ensure worker safety and compliance with environmental regulations.

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the performance, condition, and reliability of all company equipment, utilities, mechanical systems, power distribution systems, buildings, and grounds. They will review and monitor daily maintenance activity reports and related data, structuring and scheduling maintenance activities accordingly to meet customer requirements and the daily/annual Maintenance Work Plan.

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Direct reports: Maintenance Crew Leaders, Maintenance Mechanics, Electrical Specialists, Grounds Crew and External Contractors
