Copper Flake

Flake, or lamellar metal powders, are produced by milling high purity copper powders. Particles are flattened into a flake-like shape by the impact of steel balls onto the powder.

Flake powders are thin, have a high specific surface, and low apparent density. The aspect ratio of copper flake powders can be as high as 100:1.
