Meet Kymera’s 2020 APMI International Fellow

The talented engineers at Kymera International display an unwavering commitment to excellence. Tom Pelletiers in Durham, N.C., is no exception.

Tom was recently named 2020 APMI International Fellow, the only person in the industry who earned the distinction this year. The prestigious lifetime honor acknowledges his outstanding expertise in the technology, practice, or business of materials science. He was recognized earlier this month at the PM show in Orlando, Fla.

Before serving as Kymera International’s Vice President of New Business Development, Tom joined SCM Metal Products in 2006 as a Business Manager. He also served as Technical Director for U.S. Bronze Powders. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in metallurgical engineering and a Master of Science in engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.

Tom is also an active member of APMI International, a professional society dedicated to the advancement of powder metallurgy as a science. The organization’s goal is to share information regarding powder metallurgy and particulate materials via publications, conferences, and other events.

Please join us in congratulating Tom on this prestigious honor.
